How Krasner impeachment is playing on Philadelphia streets

District Attorney Larry Krasner is formally facing impeachment after Philly state Rep. Martina White introduced a resolution last week to remove him.

  • Elected officials leading the investigation into the DA have frequently said they’re working in the name of victims of crime. How do people who’ve lost loved ones to shootings feel about the effort in their name?

Some want the DA gone, Jordan Levy reports, but don’t blame him for the crisis — and one says many young Philly men don’t even recognize Krasner’s name.

Missed her flight to watch the Phils lose in Houston, but ‘worth it’

Even when the Phillies don’t win, the World Series can be fun, BP’s Development & Engagement Manager Jess deRivera found out in Houston.

  • Instead of feeling like it was enemy territory, she had a blast in Minute Maid Park last Saturday. The Phils lost, and she missed her flight home after getting back too late — but would do it again in a heartbeat. Why?

“Hanging around those weirdly friendly strangers only made my love for Philly — her teams, fans, lore — even stronger,” she wrote about her experience.
